Testimonials

George L. Lucas, MDI left a very successful orthopaedic practice in Madison, Wisconsin (one of America’s most desirable cities in which to live) to join Wichita Clinic over 20 years ago. My wife and I have never regretted the move and have been very content living and working in Wichita. There are many opportunities to be involved in cultural affairs such as the Wichita Symphony, Chamber Music at the Barn, The Wichita Art Museum and many others. We have enjoyed being members of the Wichita Chapter of the American Institute of Wine and Food and are enjoying a renaissance of fine dining opportunities that have opened up in Wichita the past few years. Although we love visiting New York, Chicago, Washington, and San Francisco, we plan to remain here in Wichita if and when I ever retire from my position at Wichita Clinic.

(Andover, KS) — The Optometry Department at Wichita Clinic Andover is pleased to announce the addition of a Zeiss/Humphrey Field Analyzer, the premier visual field testing device used throughout the United States. Visual fields are utilized to measure the full extent of the area visible to an eye that is looking straight ahead. These tests are used to identify and measure any loss of vision due to glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, tumors, strokes or eye trauma. Visual field testing can also be used to record “baseline” measurements against which future testing can be compared. With the addition of a field analyzer in Andover, patients will no longer have to drive to Wichita for this important examination.

Ashley Ralston, OD (Optometry) has been with Wichita Clinic since 1999 and recently returned from maternity leave to her practice at Wichita Clinic Andover (612 N. Andover Rd, Andover, KS 67002). Dr. Ralston sees patients of all ages and has a special interest in primary eye care, contact lens fitting and dispensing, glaucoma and ocular disease diagnosis and management, and pediatric eye care. Appointments can be made with Dr. Ralston by calling 316-613-4976.

With over 160 doctors practicing over 40 specialties, Wichita Clinic P.A. is the state’s largest outpatient multi-specialty group practice and is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care. Owned and governed by its doctors, Wichita Clinic has eleven locations in the Wichita metropolitan area. More than half a million patient visits were made to Wichita Clinic in 2007. Wichita Clinic operates in Sedgwick, Harvey and Butler counties.
